• Delivery addresses you save, including a map location if you choose one.
• Orders you place, their fulfilment route and their delivery status.
• Sourcing requests you send us, including any photograph you attach.
• Messages you send to sellers or to our support team.

How we use your information

We use your information to run the marketplace, to import what you order and to deliver it.

• Processing and delivering your orders.
• Sourcing, importing and clearing products you have ordered from abroad.
• Sharing delivery details with the seller, courier or rider handling your parcel.
• Answering your support requests and sourcing enquiries.
• Keeping accounts and payments secure.

Sellers

2KONECT is a marketplace. When you buy, the seller receives the information they need to prepare and deliver your order — your name, phone number and delivery address. Sellers may not use it for anything else.

International orders

An order sourced from abroad has to cross a border. Where a carrier or a customs authority requires the recipient's name, phone number and address to bring a shipment into Tanzania, we provide exactly that and nothing more.

Payments

Cash on delivery is handled directly between you and the rider. We do not store card details. When mobile money becomes available, payments will be handled by the provider and we will only receive confirmation of the result.

Cookies and local storage

We store your language, delivery location, cart and sign-in session in your browser so the site works between visits. See our cookie policy for detail.

Sharing

We share information only where it is needed to complete your order or where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

Security

Passwords are stored hashed and access to customer data is restricted to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Your rights

You can view and change your account details and saved addresses at any time from your account. To request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account, contact us.

Children

Accounts are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
